The Good Girl Undoing

A restorative day retreat for women ready to reconnect with themselves beyond performance, perfectionism, and emotional over-responsibility.

Maybe you've spent years being the one who…

  • keeps everything together
  • anticipates everyone else’s needs
  • avoids being “too much”
  • pushes through exhaustion
  • struggles to rest without guilt
  • feels responsible for everyone’s comfort
  • has learned to be capable at all costs

And maybe somewhere along the way, you became disconnected from yourself.

Many women were taught that being “good” meant being:

  • accommodating
  • emotionally contained
  • selfless
  • agreeable
  • high functioning
  • endlessly dependable

Even when it came at the expense of their own needs, rest, identity, creativity, or joy.

The Good Girl Undoing was created for women who are ready to soften the survival roles they’ve carried for years and reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been buried beneath responsibility, burnout, perfectionism, and emotional over-functioning.

This is not group therapy.

This is a gently guided retreat experience designed to offer space for rest, reflection, nervous system support, honest conversation, and reconnection in community with other women.

The retreat will blend:

  • guided reflection
  • psychoeducation around burnout, people pleasing, and emotional conditioning
  • grounding and nervous system support
  • journaling and experiential exercises
  • gentle movement and rest
  • meaningful conversation
  • nourishing meals and cozy spaces
  • optional Reiki offerings
  • time to simply exist without performance

This space is being created with emotional depth, warmth, and accessibility in mind. You do not need to be “spiritual enough,” emotionally open, or deeply experienced in personal growth work to belong here.

You are allowed to simply arrive as you are.

This retreat may resonate with women who:

  • feel emotionally exhausted from always being the strong one
  • struggle with people pleasing or over-functioning
  • carry resentment but have difficulty expressing it
  • feel disconnected from themselves outside of caregiving or productivity
  • crave deeper community and honest conversation
  • struggle to slow down or rest without guilt
  • feel burnt out by constantly holding everything together
  • are navigating identity shifts, burnout, motherhood, neurodivergence, relationship changes, or emotional overwhelm
  • long for softness, honesty, connection, and space to breathe

What the day may include

The Good Girl Undoing is currently being developed as an intimate local day retreat experience.

The vision includes:

  • a cozy and calming retreat environment
  • grounding practices and guided reflection
  • nourishing lunch and snacks
  • quiet integration time
  • optional mini Reiki sessions
  • journaling and experiential exercises
  • space for both connection and solitude
  • nervous system-friendly pacing with plenty of rest and transition time

The goal is not emotional performance or forced vulnerability.

The goal is to create a space where women can exhale.

Slumber Party Retreat

When’s the last time you had space to play without feeling like you had to be productive? Or to connect with others where the emphasis wasn’t on performance? As women, we are often asked to take care of other people’s emotional and physical needs. When’s the last time you had a weekend away where someone else took care of YOU? This isn’t a weekend where you’re going to learn how to become a better version of yourself — it’s about remembering the version of yourself that could be spontaneous, silly, and fun.
